Director-General, Brigadier General Suleiman Kazaure gave this warning to all National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Members, that all serving corps members should not join the strike declared by organised labour unions.
All Corps members are expected to carry on with their duties in their PPA.

The Management of National Youth Service Corps wishes to inform all 2018 Batch 'C' prospective Corps Members deployed to Kaduna State that the commencement of the Orientation Course earlier scheduled for Tuesday, 23rd October, 2018 has been suspended till further notice.


This is due to the current security situation and consequent curfew imposed by the State Government.

All affected prospective Corps Members are advised to remain at home until further notice from the NYSC Management.

However, all other prospective Corps Members deployed to other States and FCT are to report at the various orientation camps on Tuesday, 23rd October, 2018 as scheduled.

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has suspended its ongoing nationwide strike.







From today Sunday, 30 September.

The ongoing seven (7)days strike by the organised Labour has been suspended.

The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, Comrade Ayuba Wabba, has announced the suspension during a news conference. He said that the organized labour has received firm invitation to the reconvening of the meeting of the tripathite Committee.


Comrade Ayuba Wabba announced this while briefing journalists at the Labour House Abuja.















All workers are to resume work immediately.

A statement signed by the Secretary-General of the union, Mr Musa-Lawal Ozigi,  in Abuja stated that the decision to embark on strike was sequel to the resolve of the Central Working Committee of the TUC on September 24.
Ozigi said that following the mandate of the CWC, TUC leadership would take all necessary action to effect the ultimatum on the new minimum wage in collaboration with other stakeholders.


“Strike is hereby declared to commence from early hours of Thursday, September. 27, 2018,” the Secretary-General said.

A Robbery took place at GRA Phase 2 early in the morning.



A red car was trying to enter a junction and suddenly was double crossed by a black car, these men came out and most people had the notion that probably the police wants to arrest the owner of the car.



Unknowingly, The next thing that was heard was a gunshot and everyone scattered ( Running). Including the uniformed men present there.






Information gotten was that the uniformed men have been trailing the red car since it left the bank.






The person driving was struggling to prevent them from getting the money in the car but to no avail.











Nobody was hurt.
But the robbers successfully took the money.
