Federal Government begs Labour to call off Strike.
The Union had a a very strong mandate to activate strike action.
TODay the 6th of November 2018, was set for another long term strike by the Labour Congress.

The organized labour has suspended the planned strike. The Federal Government has agreed on N30,000 new minimum wage.
Director-General, Brigadier General Suleiman Kazaure gave this warning to all National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Members, that all serving corps members should not join the strike declared by organised labour unions.
All Corps members are expected to carry on with their duties in their PPA.
He said that in NYSC Act there is no provision for strike but services that will uphold the corporate entity of the nation. Any Corps Member that violates the rules and regulations of the NYSC Scheme YOU will be sanctioned
Mrs Adenike Aderemi quoted Kazaure as urging corps members nationwide to be law-abiding and respect the constitution of the country as responsible leaders of today and tomorrow.

Teachers in public schools
All teachers are expected to be in School.
The planned strike by Labour that could have affected teachers, which could have closed up many schools in seconds has been called off.
All teachers are advice to be in schools.
As a sign of our good faith, the executive committee of the Federal Government has mearnt yesterday Monday breaking this morning with the Labour that the strike should be called off.
