The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has suspended its ongoing nationwide strike.
From today Sunday, 30 September.
The ongoing seven (7)days strike by the organised Labour has been suspended.
The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC, Comrade Ayuba Wabba, has announced the suspension during a news conference. He said that the organized labour has received firm invitation to the reconvening of the meeting of the tripathite Committee.
Comrade Ayuba Wabba announced this while briefing journalists at the Labour House Abuja.
All workers are to resume work immediately.
Comrade Ayuba Wabba said that the organised labour has gotten firm commitment from the government that the Tripartite Committee of the Minimum Wage Committee reconvenes on October 4.
